What Is IVF & How Does It Work?

What is IVF?

First of all, it stands for in vitro fertilization. IVF is a medical procedure in which an egg is fertilized with sperm, giving you an embryo or a baby seedling. This happens outside of your body. Then the embryos either frozen or transferred to your uterus or womb, which will hopefully result in pregnancy.

How does IVF help women?

About one in eight women need this little extra help in getting pregnant. Is this kind of alarming that that that many women are having difficulty conceiving on their own? And this is due to a lot of toxins and chemicals in our environment that are affecting our hormones. They’re in the foods we eat, they’re in the things we drink and they’re all over in what we breathe. And so you know, really, it’s really important to take care of ourselves, and sometimes we’re just exposed to these things and we don’t even know. IVF is often the best way to have a biological baby if you’re struggling to get pregnant.

So what can you do?

Women often have several emotions as you prepare for and start to complete an IVF cycle, such as anxiety, sadness and uncertainty. These are all very common. IVF can take time and it can be physically demanding. It can also cost quite a bit and all for this chance of getting pregnant. So you need to do your research, find a reputable place to do IVF. And like I said, clean up your diet. Make sure you’re not being exposed to any extra chemicals through what you’re eating and drinking. Exercise is super important and so is rest. About two weeks of regular shots can heighten your emotions and make your body feel completely out of whack, so the rest is super important. So I hope these tips helped.
