Welcome to Hormone Yoga for your Menstrual Cycle. This practice is for Phase 1 of your cycle when you have your period. It’s a time to nurture ourselves and let go of what is no longer serving us.
The goal of this yoga practice is to help you reconnect your breath to honour the beginning of your menstrual cycle, and letting go of what no longer serves you.
Yoga can be a helpful practice for managing the discomfort and stress that often accompanies the beginning of a menstrual cycle. Gentle movements and stretches can promote circulation and relaxation, easing cramps and soothing the mind. There are certain poses known for their soothing effects on the reproductive system.
It’s important to listen to your body and not push past your limits during this time. By approaching your yoga practice with awareness and compassion, you can find a sense of balance and ease.
