How To Protect Baby From Chemicals & Environmental Toxins

You might be wondering, how safe is your environment for your baby – are there any hidden toxins and chemicals

Our children’s bodies are designed to eliminate toxins – through sweat, pee, and poop, and even through their breath.

If toxins enter their bodies – faster than their elimination routes can get rid of them, they’ll fill up the so-called “Inflammation Bucket,” until that bucket eventually overflows. This concept of the inflammation bucket illustrates that ours and babies bodies can only handle a certain amount of stress from its environment, and then inflammation symptoms appear.

Now, once that happens,  what are the effects on baby? A lot of issues can develop, such as eczema, asthma, allergies, ADHD, autism, anxiety, autoimmune illness, cancer, and many other diseases.

Over 50% of our kids are currently diagnosed with a chronic condition. Yup – you heard me right. More than half! And by 2025, that number is expected to be 80%!

So, how can you prevent and protect your child? Here are 4 tips. If you want a detailed protocol to follow, we have one that you can download.

#1. Check your water and food

Infants take in more food relative to their body than adults, so chemicals found in infant formula and baby food can have a huge effect on their developing bodies and brains.

#2. Check baby toys

Harmful chemicals such as BPA have been found in the toys your baby plays with and put in their mouth.

#3. Check your home

From furniture to electronics, cleaning products to personal care, the average house contains a range of chemicals that eventually end up in fine particles of dust. Researchers have consistently shown that infants and young children have the highest exposure to chemicals in household dust because of their behavior – like spending more time on the floor and putting things in their mouth – and because of physiological differences like higher breathing rates.

#4. Check your baby care products and your own skincare products.

One of the most important things you can do is check the topical products you are using for harmful chemicals. Preservatives in baby skincare products are linked to numerous health problems. This should not be possible, right? We should all be able to trust that the baby products on store shelves are safe. But the government isn’t doing their job to protect us from toxic chemicals.

So choosing baby-safe, 100% all natural, chemical-free, and water-free products are very important and it’s your task to check, unfortunately.

I hope these four tips will help you – you can make a difference for you and your child’s life! If you want more help, we have a detailed guide you can follow.
