15 Healthy Habits To Reduce Your Risk Of Breast Cancer

15 Healthy Habits To Reduce Your Risk Of Breast Cancer

By Annette Garcea

Ladies, it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. Let’s get right into my 15 preventative habits to reduce your risk!

First, exercise at least 40 minutes each day, or 4 hours a week outside of your normal activities. Walking, jogging, swimming, dancing, cycling, rebounding, or using the elliptical machine.

Second, sleep in a dark room with no lights from the street coming into your bedroom to keep melatonin levels high.

Three, spend 15 minutes outside, exposing your arms and legs to sunlight every day helps you get a lots of vitamin D.

Four, adopt a primarily organic diet. Minimize meat, fish, eggs, and avoid dairy and sugar.

Five, diet hacks! add 2 tablespoons of freshly grounded flax seeds to your cereals, juice, smoothies, or salads. Eat them within 15 minutes after grinding. Eat 2 Brazil nuts daily for selenium. Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric daily to your food. Or take 1000 milligrams of curcumin in capsule form daily.

Six, reduce or eliminate alcohol altogether.

Seven, quit smoking.

Eight, switch to using non-toxic cleaning products like baking soda and vinegar to clean your sinks, toilets, fridge, stove, floors and counters. Avoid cleaning products with chlorine.

Nine, store leftover food in glass, ceramic, or stainless steel rather than plastic, and drink water from glass or stainless steel containers. The plastic leeches Bisphenol A and phthalates, which both act like the hormone estrogen.

Ten, stop using the birth control pill and hormone replacement therapy.

Eleven, spend at least an hour a week in the sauna or use exercise to sweat to eliminate environmental chemicals and toxic metal stored in your fat cells.

Twelve, use iodine topically on breast nodes and cysts. Mix one drop of lugol 5% iodine with 100% plant butter and apply topically daily to the areas where you have the cysts. If you are also deficient in iodine, you can take an iodine supplement.

Thirteen, avoid cosmetics, nail polish, toothpaste, shampoos, etc containing parabens and phthalates. Avoid femcare and beauty products that contain water only. Water free products are truly natural, safe and truly chemical free.

Fourteen, lymphatic drainage therapy is very important and very helpful for the health of your body and your breasts. Lymphatic drainage methods include dry brush periphery to core, drinking water, rebounding or skipping, massaging from periphery to core movement, and sweating either with exercise or the sauna as I mentioned earlier.

Fifteen, breastfeed your baby if you’re a new mom. Women shed breast tissue during breastfeeding.
