Meet Mae by Damiva – Help With Vaginal Dryness Naturally

I’m always excited to talk about Mae. Mae is amazing…amazingly soothing!

So what exactly is Mae for? Mae is for vaginal dryness. It’s a vaginal moisturizer that helps with the dryness symptoms that you can feel. For every woman it’s different – it could be itching, it could be that sandpaper feeling, or it could be pain with intercourse. Everyone is different, but the vaginal symptoms are, are very similar. I certainly wish I’d had Mae throughout my life, you know, whether it would have been postpartum or any other time.

But I’m certainly grateful to have Mae now in my life, in my menopause. We developed the product when I was going through perimenopause. I wanted a product and needed a product that was not going to disrupt my hormones anymore that would be safe and effective.

Mae is designed to melt at 37 degrees Celsius, which is our body temperature. Because once you insert it vaginally, you want it to melt. Mae is simply a combination of plant butters and sucrose, as well as some homeopathic ingredients such as which Hazel and Calendula, and it’s the sucrose that helps promote the right bacteria because it feeds the right bacteria and basically helps maintain the right microbiome.

We found in a clinical trial clinical trials of over about 700 women, that sucrose is as effective as metronidazole, which is an antibiotic in actually curing bacterial vaginosis. And that’s interesting because a lot of women know to stay away from taking sugar internally. Mae has a pH of under 3.5. It has sucrose, which helps with infection issues including yeast infections. They’ve done clinical trials showing that there’s some evidence showing that sucrose also helps as an antifungal. And then of course, being completely chemical free.

Mae is great for women as we’re going through hormone flux and it won’t disrupt our hormones anymore. That’s super important to me. I don’t wanna be taking in any chemicals because, you know, in, in menopause hormones are declining. They’re creating all sorts of havoc, all sorts of symptoms. I don’t want anything else disrupting my hormones.

I have I have a story about one of my first customers for Mae. We were selling Mae only in specific provinces in Canada. And so this customer lived in Quebec and she called me. She had seen that the product was for sale, asked me if it was available in Quebec, and it wasn’t at the time. And and it is now of course. And she said, well, where can I get? I said, well, you know, the nearest store to use about an hour and a half away.

So she said, fine, I’m gonna drive there. And she drove there. She bought one box the first time. And then after she tried one box, she loved it so much that she would drive an hour and a half away. She would go into the store, she’d buy out their entire inventory, go back you know, a few months later, and then buy more.

And how I found out about her was that she emailed me. I actually don’t even know how she got ahold of my email. She tracked me down. And she sent me this graphic and it was basically the words “I love you” in like so many different languages and and it was so lovely. And she said,

“I just want to thank you for making this product. You know, you saved my vagina, you saved my sanity, you saved my marriage and you saved my life.”

That was really amazing. It was incredible. And so of course that was the first I heard of her when she emailed me. So, of course I had to get in touch with her and she’s a customer still to this day. hat was for me an incredible experience to be able to reach out to someone who benefited so much from me.
