You used to be an incredible sleeper. You could sleep through anything and have felt well rested when you woke up. But now, during this transitioning period, things are very different. Now on days that you sleep less, you can feel its hard to make up the lost hours. On top of that, you are plagued with many other symptoms that come with perimenopause and menopause. 

So, why does this happen? A lot of the extreme fatigue, low energy levels, and sleeplessness are due hormonal changes. As women get older, they begin a period of a hormonal depletion across the board.
